Sara's hundreds of feature articles, columns and reviews have appeared in such places as the Winnipeg Free Press, Halifax Chronicle Herald, Focus Magazine, and the Globe and Mail. A piece for Today's Parent won a National Magazine Award (Gold).
Sara has degrees in journalism, English and philosophy. She has worked in communications since 2015 for the BC government, and since 2019 for the Ministry of Health. Sara has taught publishing, journalism, communications and writing at Camosun College, Royal Roads University, and University of Victoria.
